Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian actress and model. She gained fame in Australia because of her character Pepper Steiger, which she played over a 100 episodes on the soap opera Australian Neighbors between 2006 and 2007. Her first project in Hollywood was a comedy based on choral singing Hollywood & Wine that she appeared in, where she played an actress that is newly arrived in Hollywood. Then she was offered a part as Maya an extremely seductive medical student in Scrubs' ninth season. In the end, the whole series abruptly ended. Then she continued to film a Farrelly Brothers comedy Good to Shoot, starring Jason Sudeikis as well as Owen Wilson. Then she appeared in B-series films and short series. 2013 was the year she had the opportunity to tackle more difficult tasks. The actress was in six episodes in the detective show Franklin and Bash, and later, she got her first appearance as a regular on the web series Chosen which starred Milo Ventimiglia. The show also features her as Chad Michael Murray's response in the series' first and second seasons. In the following year she appeared in the supporting parts for two films featuring aircraft scenes. One was The Flight 7500: One Way Back on the SyFy Channel with a group of actors from the television industry as well as Le Chaos (an action film with Nicolas Cage). She portrays a flight assistant. Matador is a television series that she has created with Gabriel Luna. The 13 episode season is all that exists of the thriller by Robert Rodriguez where the actors play CIA agents. It continues to air the pilot of another show that is not a success. In 2015, she shared posters for the B Series romance Borrowed Moments along with Brian Krause. The following year, she starred as a character in Witness for Rent wearing Kevin Hart Josh Gad Kaoco. In addition, she is part of the vast production of Terrence Malcolmick's experiment Knight of Cups. She has also appeared in five episodes of the Satisfaction television series.
