Summer Glau
The first TV appearance of Glau was as a guest on an actress on an episode of the television series Angel. Director Joss Whedon saw her and decided to cast her as River Tam on his short-lived TV series Firefly. Glau also appeared in the role of the sequel Serenity. Glau had previously applied to play the Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger alyssa Erile) role in Power Rangers Wild Force, but was rejected by Jessica Rey. Glau had a small part in the film Sleepover in which she played the high school senior Shelly. She was also in the "What's Gilbert Grissom eating?" episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. ", season two of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girl of Jeremy Erhart). Glau was the paranoid schizophrenia returning Tess Doerner in season 2 of The 4400. She became a regular in season 3 and beyond. Mammoth was also her horror comedy character. Glau was in The Initiation of Sarah, an ABC Family TV movie. Glau played Cameron Phillips, a Terminator-infiltration unit returned to Skynet to defend John Connor (and Sarah Connor). The seventh episode of the series, "The Demon Hand" included a number of scenes that featured Glau in character as Cameron is seen dancing in ballet. In the second season's episode "Allison From Palmdale" (season 2), Glau played Allison Young who was Cameron's human doppelganger. Glau played herself on an CBS episode in 2009 of The Big Bang Theory's situation comedy.
